Pondok Pesantren Tahfiz Ibnu Aqil Joins the ElevenLabs Impact Program

Medan — Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Tahfiz Ibnu Aqil (PPIA) is proud to announce that it has officially joined the ElevenLabs Impact Program, an initiative by ElevenLabs that supports non-profit organizations and mission-driven institutions in putting AI voice technology to good use.

ElevenLabs is a technology company best known for its high-quality text-to-speech (TTS) and AI voice tools. Through this program, PPIA gains full access to ElevenLabs' services for the year ahead, helping to support a range of technology initiatives across the pesantren.

Where Tradition Meets Technology

From the very beginning, PPIA has been committed to delivering quality tahfiz (Qur'an memorization) education while staying open to the opportunities that technology brings. Joining the ElevenLabs Impact Program is one more step in that direction: holding firmly to the values of authentic Islamic education, while embracing modern tools that can ease day-to-day operations and improve the learning experience for our students.

As a first step, PPIA plans to use ElevenLabs' text-to-speech technology to help with everyday operations across the campus — turning written text into clear, natural-sounding audio so that announcements and information can be shared quickly and consistently.

Looking further ahead, the same technology could support other needs as well, such as educational audio content and information services for both students and their families.
